CALL TO ORDER

The Mayor called the meeting to order at 4:05 p.m. in the Council Chamber, 437 Old Mammoth Road, Suite Z, Mammoth Lakes.

PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE

Betsy Truax led the flag salute.

PUBLIC COMMENTS

Town Manager Daniel C. Holler reported that the Town had been working with the Forest Service on the Lakes Basin opening.

POLICY MATTERS

4.1

Fiscal Year 22-23 Preliminary Budget (Department Requested).

Administrative Services/Finance Director Rob Patterson gave a presentation regarding the Fiscal Year 2022-23 Preliminary Budget. There was discussion among members of Council and staff.

4.2

Preliminary Capital Improvement Program Projects and Budget for Fiscal Year 22-23.

Town Manager Daniel C. Holler, Public Works Director Haislip Hayes, Community and Economic Development Director Sandra Moberly, and Administrative Services/Finance Director Rob Patterson outlined the information in the staff report. There was discussion among members of Council and staff.

Councilmember Sauser recused himself and left the meeting at 5:00 p.m. due to his ownership of property within 500 feet of The Parcel.

Councilmember Rea recused herself and left the meeting at 5:00 p.m. due to her rental of property within 700 feet of The Parcel.

Councilmembers Rea and Sauser returned to the meeting at 5:14 p.m.

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Ted Carleton, The Sheet, asked about the funding used for the ARFF. Mr. Patterson responded.

CONSENSUS:

Council agreed with staff's recommendations regarding the Preliminary Capital Improvement Program Budget for Fiscal Year 22-23.
