Call to Order
 

President Kirk Stapp called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. in the Council Chamber located at 437 Old Mammoth Road, Mammoth Lakes. Mr. Stapp and Board Member Brian D'Andrea attended the meeting in person, the rest of the Board attended via videoconference.

Assembly Bill 361 (AB 361) Findings

Adopt Resolution 2022-01 to allow virtual Board meetings to continue during the Covid-19 pandemic declared emergency

Executive Director Patricia Robertson outlined the information in the staff report.

SPEAKING FROM THE FLOOR:

Town of Mammoth Lakes (TOML) Town Manager Dan Holler discussed the scenarios in which the Assembly Bill 361 item needed to be a separate agenda item and when it would be acceptable to add it to the Consent Agenda.

The Board went into Closed Session at 5:13 p.m.

The Board came out of Closed Session at 5:59 p.m.

Executive Director Patricia Robertson reported that if the Board would like Mammoth Lakes Housing to proceed with the Homekey grant application in partnership with the Town, Resolution 2022-02 authorizing the Project Homekey grant application with the Town would need to be approved.

Board Member Tom Hodges reported that the Programs and Housing Development Committee had been meeting regularly and said that he appreciated Board Member Brian D'Andrea's assistance on the Committee.

Mr. D'Andrea said the Programs and Housing Development Committee would continue to discuss the Valley Apartments, and told Executive Director Patricia Robertson that he wanted to bring back the conversation about MLH becoming a NeighborWorks Affiliate which he said would help expand their internal capacity.

Ms. Robertson reported that the Board Nominations Committee had not met.
